Winter in Provence

It does happen.  Once every year, we are caught off-guard by a snowfall.  It comes quickly and makes an impression.  Everything stops, and we get a brief chance to marvel at the beauty before the sunshine carries it away.

What bliss, to capture images on a wintry walk, then paint at my leisure in a sunny studio.
